The Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of vulnerable is: capable of being physically or emotionally wounded; open to attack or damage. Why would I open myself up to being attacked or wounded?! Being vulnerable is hard or at least it is for me! A part of being vulnerable is getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. I believe strength and trust are vital for being vulnerable. It takes a considerable amount of strength and trust to put yourself into a position where you could potentially get hurt.
