    Silent Rides- Blocked Blessings

    Hey y’all! I know it’s been a minute since I posted anything and I apologize for that, but most importantly I apologize to myself for not showing up. Ok now that that’s out of the way, let’s get into it. A few months ago, I started occasionally driving in silence. It was weird and uncomfortable because I always like some type of noise going on.     🫣Vulnerability🫣

    The Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of vulnerable is: capable of being physically or emotionally wounded; open to attack or damage. Why would I open myself up to being attacked or wounded?! Being vulnerable is hard or at least it is for me! A part of being vulnerable is getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. I believe strength and trust are vital for being vulnerable. It takes a considerable amount of strength and trust to put yourself into a position where you could potentially get hurt.     I watched this Christmas movie on Prime a couple of weeks ago and in it the main character was a wife and mother who seemed to have lost herself along the way. She married her high school sweetheart and she was a stay at home wife even though she had dreams of becoming a doctor in high school.
