Strong Black Woman ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

One word that is often used to describe a black woman is “strong”💪🏾. She’s also thought to be independent and always the rock that everyone can lean on, but who can she lean on?? She’ll help take the load off of someone else’s back while she’s about to fall over carrying her load along with others! The title of being strong makes her feel weak when she has to ask for help or feel bad when she has to say no. But is that healthy🤔? Always being there for everybody else but not for yourself? Like the saying goes, “you can’t pour from an empty cup.”

It’s hard being looked at as the strong woman because people think you don’t need anything or anyone, but strong black women get tired too.
